It’s been quite a day for Dallas Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones. First, reports surfaced that he may or may not have tampered by talking with Adrian Peterson about joining the Cowboys. Then, we found out that Jones was still upset about passing up on Johnny Manziel during the NFL Draft a few months back.
Now, the NFL on ESPN has tweeted out the grade Jones said he would give himself for his tenure thus far as GM of the Cowboys.

It’s fitting that the GM of team mediocre would give himself a matching grade. When someone receives a “C” they have done average work, which pretty much sums up the perennially 8-8 Cowboys.
Some could argue that the massive contracts Jones has given out (and immediately regretted) would drop him a grade or two lower, but this is about right.
