The Detroit Lions have decided to partner with a company called Repreve to introduce an innovative idea to the NFL. They’re making Matthew Stafford’s practice jerseys out of recycled water bottles. In addition, the company is reproducing towels for the team that are all green. The first 8000 fans that show up to the Lions practice tomorrow night at Ford Field will each get a green towel. Who knew that clothing could be made from recycled bottles?
