Little League World Series breakout star Mo’ne Davis is having quite the week. She’s grabbed a Sports Illustrated cover, become the first female to throw a shut-out at the LLWS, and now can say her autograph is worth a lot more than most people.
FanSided found an eBay listing for a pair of baseballs signed by the 12-year-old pitcher that finished with a winning bid of $510. Seriously.
For comparison’s sake, autographs by Hall of Famers such as Wade Boggs and Roberto Alomar are going for around $50.00 right now. You’ve got to give credit to the seller for taking advantage of the situation, but you also have to shake your head at him for the very same reason.
