US Pole Vaulter Injured When Pole Snaps in Practice (Video)

United States pole vaulter and Olympic gold medalist, Jenn Suhr, was injured last week during a routine practice. The pole vault snapped when Suhr was making a a routine practice run and left Suhr clutching her wrist in agony.

Suhr won the gold medal in the 2012 Olympics and was hoping for a repeat performance in 2016. There hasn’t been any word on the extent of her injuries.
