Fun times at USC these days. Here is what RB Anthony Brown had to say on his Instagram page (since deleted).
Brown — a redshirt senior — just made the announcement on Instagram … where he said, “Sark treated me like a slave in his Office…Can’t play for a racist MAN!!!!! #Fighton.”
He also added an image that says, “Couldn’t play for a racist man.”
Curious to what actually was said, maybe Brown will enlighten us with more IG posts soon. USC is having a tough week with the Josh Shaw lie about being Superman and saving drowning kids and now this.
I wouldn’t bet on them having a successful season at this rate.
Here is what Sarkisian had to say to defend himself via the OC.
“As far as what he said … I think it’s ridiculous,” Sarkisian told reporters in the media workroom at Heritage Hall.
“Any of you guys that know me, and if you ask anybody in our building, any of our players, feel free to. That’s about the furthest thing from the truth.”
“No. Again, I go back to what I said a couple days ago: I’ve got over a hundred guys in that locker room that are as important or more important than these two isolated incidents. I owe it to those guys to do the best job that I can do to prepare our staff and to prepare them to play a great football game on Saturday, and that’s what my focus is on.”
No, we don’t know you coach, so we will need some more specifics of what was said.
*UPDATE*
More details have emerged from Brown’s side of the conversation via TMZ.
“I called a meeting up with this disrespectful guy!!! He called me a coward, all types of f**k words.”
“He stereotype my mom and dad. like he belittle me to another level.”
“I just responded Yes Sir and No Sir!”“Never been treated like that before!! Don’t Wish it upon anyone! That’s who he is!”
