New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick refused to give any information on Tom Brady’s calf injury that kept him out of practice Thursday. When pushed by reporters for answers at a press conference this morning, Belichick stuck to the Patriots play book of saying as little as possible, rinse and repeat. Here are a few choice answers from the Patriots coach.
“We’ve listed it on the report like we are required to do.”
Reporter: Any doubts on him starting Sunday against the Dolphins?
“We’ll list it the way it is today.”
Reporter: Expect him to practice today?
“We’ll list what happens.”
The Patriots are notoriously secretive about all injuries to their players. The Patriots are scheduled to practice again at 11 am today in preparation for their game against division rivals the Miami Dolphins this Sunday. If Brady practices we will be able to see how serious an injury we’re talking about here.
