After an offseason of reportedly trying to shop their speedy running back, the Buffalo Bills now seem prepared to give C.J. Spiller a new contract.
PFT is reporting that Bills brass have began discussions on a new contract.
General Manager Doug Whaley said in an interview on WGR Tuesday morning that he has had a sit-down meeting with Spiller’s representatives to let them know Spiller is wanted.
“He’s a playmaker, and we’re trying to keep as many playmakers as possible,” Whaley said, via the team.
Despite not using Spiller correctly, Buffalo seems content to keep the running back around.
