Chicago could be without Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey tonight against San Francisco. Bears head coach Marc Trestman is taking it one minute at a time.
“We’ll continue to monitor their progress as we work into the game,” Trestman said. “[I’m] always optimistic. I’m always gonna think positive about it. But we’ve got time. We’ll see where we are. We’ve got up to 90 minutes before the game to make those kinds of decisions, so we’re gonna use every minute of it to make sure we’re gonna make the right decision in the best interest of the team, and certainly the player.”
Jay Cutler surely hopes he’ll have his top two receivers available. The duo combined for 13 catches for 142 yards last week against Buffalo.
