The NFL season is officially here. No more meaningless snaps from this point on, which means it’s time to see if Seattle can hold on to their title as Super Bowl champs.
Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay are set to invade the ’12th man’ tonight. Seattle’s defense is probably the best in the league, but they would still like to keep Rodgers off the field as much as possible.
How do they do that?
Well, a major dosage of Marshawn Lynch might be the solution. ‘Beast Mode’ only had three carries in the preseason, but Seahawks head coach Pete Carrol remains confident in his back.
It’s time for the wraps to come off. Coach Pete Carroll says that Lynch looked “on point” in his preseason cameo and is ready to “let it rip” on Thursday night against the Packers. What’s more, Carroll says that the running back looks better going into the regular season than he has at any other point in their time together.
The game is set to kick-off at 8:30 eastern time on NBC.
