I think if Dez Bryant wants to separate himself from the “diva” labels that a lot of talented wide receivers seem to have attached to them, then he should probably stop acting like a diva.
The Dallas Cowboys receiver is quite often seen to be throwing tantrums which leads to the diva labeling, but Bryant doesn’t see himself in that light.
“I’m too rough to be a diva…. There’s nothing diva about me,” Bryant said to NFL.com’s Mike Silver.
Bryant is coming off an outstanding 93-catch, 13-touchdown campaign, but is still fueled by criticism.
“I don’t like when people give me praise,” Bryant said.
“Don’t be telling me I’m good! I don’t want to hear that!”
I think Dez is a little confused by the meaning of the word as it pertains to football players.
