The University of Florida announced that they will officially cancel the Gators game against the Idaho Vandals after the contest was suspended due to lightning. The game itself lasted all of one play before being delayed.

Idaho and the fans will not be left out in the cold despite the cancellation, as the Tampa Bay Times reports everyone will get their money.
Idaho will still receive its $975,000 guaranteed fee by Feb. 1, 2015.
If you had a ticket to the game, it will be refunded. The two teams will meet again sometime in 2017.
For the Gators, they won’t just be losing money as a result of the cancellation. This also serves as one less win as they likely would have beat Idaho up in what amounted to a tune-up. It will be interesting to see if that hurts their case come Bowl season.
