Sometimes people forget when they are saying “Free Josh Gordon” that it wasn’t just weed that got him in trouble. He has had multiple run ins with the law and while he has been able to avoid jail time, it still will complicate when he gets back on the field.
Gordon according to CBS Sports pleaded guilty for a DWI in Raleigh, NC. He won’t serve jail time, just a year probation and pay some fines, but because of the guilty plea it could add games to his already lengthy suspension.
He is scheduled to be suspended 10 games whenever the NFL and NFLPA agree on new drug policy. That might be extended to 12 games thanks to this latest legal arrangement.
