Come on dog…..
New Orleans police are looking for a man who used a wheelchair to steal $500 in alcohol Tuesday.
The incident happened at a Rite Aid in the 3400 block of St. Charles Avenue at about 7 p.m.
According to NOPD spokesman Officer Frank Robertson, the man rolled into the store in a wheelchair and to the liquor section. He can be seen on video standing up multiple times while placing several bottles of liquor into a blue back pack.
After getting the liquor, the man got back into his chair and “rolled out of the front doors in an unknown direction,” Robertson said.
The store conducted an audit the next day. They found the man made off with $500.
They are still looking for the thief.
