The Atlanta Hawks have always struggled to land the premiere free agents in the NBA, and the scandal of Danny Ferry making racist remarks about Luol Deng is sure to leave a lasting impression as well.
New York Knicks star forward Carmelo Anthony was asked his opinion about the Hawks potential to land free agents going forward in the aftermath of Ferry’s stinging remarks.
Melo didn’t hold back, telling the New York Post that “there ain’t nobody who would want to go there.”
