This evening, University of Michigan had a promotion going on that if you purchased two Coca-Cola products at the University’s convenience stores, you would receive a pair of non-student tickets to the upcoming football game vs. Minnesota.
According to The Michigan Daily, Students were to receive tickets with a value or $75 with purchases as little as $3; of course, tickets soon sold out once word got out about the promotion.
Well, come to find out, the promotion should not have ran as is. ESPN’s Darren Rovell sent out a tweet going in depth about the miscommunication with the promotion. As a result, the promotion got immediately pulled, however, all purchases to date will still be honored by Coke.
When something seems too good to be true….it often is. However, the students who were quick to respond to the promotion definitely made a small come-up.
