Roger Goodell has the support of NFL owners, so he should survive the Ray Rice scandal, but that doesn’t mean the sharks aren’t swimming.
The National Organization for Women (NOW) has called for the NFL commissioner to resign his post amid the league’s sloppy handling of Rice punching his then fiancee in the face last February.

Goodell and the NFL slipped up in their handling of Rice and should use this fiasco as a learning lesson going forward. He shouldn’t lose his job though.
Domestic abuse will not end if Roger Goodell steps down, and the new commissioner would likely have success using the new policy that Goodell implemented two weeks ago.
