Well, heres something you don’t see everyday.
The Washington Nationals seem to have a tradition going with their rookies, dressing them up in hilarious outfits. This year veterans chose ballerinas as apart of the Nats traditional hazing of the rookies. Nationals reporter Adam Kilgore wrote of the experience:
Inside the clubhouse, disco lights flashed and music blared and pretense vanished. Inside each rookie’s locker hung a ballerina’s leotard and tutu, to be worn for playful hazing on the team charter to Atlanta. “Am I putting this on the right way?” one rookie asked to no one in particular. “I think it’s on backwards.”
I think the boys made Misty Copeland proud.
