Mark Maske of the Washington Post is reporting that the Carolina Panthers may follow the Minnesota Vikings lead and place embattled defensive end Greg Hardy on the Commissioners exempt list as well.
Jason Cole of Bleacher is reporting that Hardy has agreed to the joining the exempt list, and is simply waiting for the paperwork to clear.

Hardy met with team officials Wednesday but left without commenting on his status. Hardy will be paid while deactivated until the conclusion of his legal proceedings.
Coach Ron Rivera said on Monday that “Greg is with the team. We’re going to go through this week and evaluate circumstances. It’s a fluid situation.”
