The Carolina Panthers are running out of RB’s early into this 2014 season. The Panthers were already without starting RB DeAngelo Williams, who has missed the last 2 games with a deep thigh bruise, and now RB’s Jonathan Stewart and Mike Tolbert could miss time with their own respective injuries, according to ESPN’s David Newton.
Looks like #Panthers may be without RB Tolbert (hairline fracture in leg), RB Jonathan Stewart (severely sprained knee) and LB T.Davis.

Stewart Suffered a severely sprained knee and will be evaluated going forward, while Tolbert suffered a hairline fracture in his leg and was seen walking around on crutches Monday at the Carolina facility. Hopefully Williams’ thigh has healed enough for him to give it a go Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. If Williams is not able to go, Carolina could be left with Fozzy Whittaker and Darren Reaves as their only tailback options. Carolina is a team known for their power running offense, and with QB Cam Newton’s mobility already in question, this recent rash of injuries could leave the Panthers scrambling for answers.
