The Red Sox are currently sitting in last place in the AL East, with a record of (63-81). Former MVP Dustin Perdroia has done his part, however. He’s batting .278 to go along with 5 homers and 57 RBI’s.
Pedroia has been battling a hand injury that could cost him the remainder of the season. With Boston clearly out of playoff contention, it would probably be smart for Boston to shut him down.
Dustin Pedroia may be done for the year because of a left wrist injury originally suffered in midseason. http://t.co/UWNKKIKGc6
