Junior quarterback J.W. Walsh suffered a right foot injury Saturday against Missouri State. The first year starter came in with a lot of pressure, considering the Pokes have been one of the nations top offenses in recent years.
Unfortunately, Walsh may miss the remainder of the season.
Tulsa World has confirmed that J.W. Walsh had surgery Wednesday to repair a soft tissue injury in his right foot. The report says that while no fracture was found in the foot, there’s a chance Walsh could be out for the remainder of the season.
Meanwhile, junior Daxx Garman will run the show offensively.
