Texas was absolutely embarrassed by BYU this past weekend. Losing is one thing, but to lose 41-7 is completely unacceptable for a program as prestigious as Texas.
The Longhorns were without their starting quarterback David Ash. There was some optimism that he could return to action soon, but that dream was crushed today.
The Texas Longhorns will be without junior starting quarterback David Ash for some time, as head coach Charlie Strong said on Monday that Ash is out “indefinitely.”
Strong will continue to roll with sophomore Tyrone Swoopes as his starter.
