Vikings have not removed any options off the table regarding the future of star running back Adrian Peterson, according to Vikings GM Rick Spielman on Sunday.
“We are, as an organization, still in the process of gathering information, and at the end of the weekend we will discuss what we will do going forward,” Spielman said. “You don’t want to make any kneejerk reactions. All options are on the table. You can’t take any options off the table because we’re still gathering information.”
This is a potential bombshell for Minnesota and the NFL as the Vikings weigh out their options. While outright cutting AP is a possibility I can’t see it right now. I expect them holding off and trying to trade him down the line.
