The goal for Adrian Peterson is to try to play football again this year. If the trial starts on December 1st the season will be essentially over by the time a verdict is reach. I just don’t see the Vikings bringing him back even if he is found innocent unless they were in serious playoff contention.

The trial date for Adrian Peterson is tentatively set for Dec. 1, with potential to move up into November if another case falls off docket.
