On the one hand Marshall is absolutely correct.
The media has a tendency to pick and choose who they critique for the same behaviors. On the other hand a player’s history sometimes makes those critiques justifiable. Marshall sarcastically tweeted about Philip Rivers “emotion”.
Somebody tell Phillip Rivers to stop showing so much emotion. What's wrong with him?

Rivers has always had outbursts with opponents, teammates, coaches and sometimes fans. He is usually just described as a passionate player and rarely any negative perceptions come from it.
Marshall who latest show of emotion came at the expense of his quarterback and kicker is seen in the opposite light. Some of that is because Marshall has a history of not being able to keep his temper in check, but rightfully so he points out if that was someone like Rivers having same outburst, not much would have been made of it.
