Vincent Jackson is taking a page out of Warrick Dunn’s playbook.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers stud wide receiver spent the team’s bye week giving back to the local community by throwing a baby shower for military moms, providing each mother with over $1,000 in gifts.
The gift bags included diapers, car seats and strollers from Jackson’s foundation, which the receiver founded to help military families.
Jackson grew up in a military family, and understands that times can get rough.
“I mean, I knew, growing up in a military household, sometimes things are tight,” he said. “I know it’s going to go a long way for these families, especially these young families to help keep some of that stuff in their pocket.”
