Rodman believes Smith adds a needed mix to the Knicks nucleus.
It is an interesting—and good—comparison. There’s nothing wrong with being an “outlier,” because most teams need someone who can mix things up a bit. If Smith can complement Carmelo Anthony in the triangle offense in a similar way that Rodman fit in with the Bulls, the Knicks will be back in playoff contention this season.
