When will people learn that Twitter is not and never will be your friend?
According to SI.com, the Detroit Lions along with the Police Department found the guy who shined a laser to the Buffalo Bills last Sunday. After the Bills won the game, QB Kyle Orton and Colton Schmidt said a laser was shined on them during a 50 yd field goal attempt that went to the left. It was later confirmed by the NFL and along with the police department immediately looked for the culprit but they didn’t have to look further than their computer screen.
@MarkoBeslach tweeted the deed then of course in true twitter fashion later deleted it.
“Got Kyle Orton complained to the ref when I got him with the laser,” one deleted tweet said, according to a cached version of the Twitter page hosted by Google.
Despite him having deleted the tweet the unknown fan has since been banned from all Lions games. Fans have to realize that at the end of the day, players, teams, executives owe us nothing; at the end of the day, its just a game. Risking games or just small petty stuff isn’t worth it, just enjoy the game. There’s always next season.
