The demise of Carson Palmer was a bit premature.
According to The Arizona Republic, the Cardinals have started discussions with Carson Palmer on a contract extension.
“I won’t get into specific points of the negotiations but we’ve had some dialogue with Dave Dunn,” Keim said, according to The Arizona Republic. “(Palmer) has done a great job for us.”
The 35-year-old Palmer is in his second season with the Cardinals after being acquired in a trade with the Oakland Raiders in April 2013. His contract currently runs through the 2015 season, but voids if he is still on the roster five business days after Super Bowl XLIX on Feb. 1.
