The good people over at Twitter Sports have painstakingly sifted through every NFL team’s fan base to bring to you, an interactive map that shows exactly where the bulk of team’s fans reside.
The system uses every team’s followers and their respective locations as opposed to using mentions or hashtags for better accuracy. The map sorts out, and even compare fan bases all the way down to the county:
Find out where followers come from for every @NFL team with our new #NFL Twitter fan map. https://t.co/UOKAuiNINepic.twitter.com/BgDcSAKzde

Among some of the more interesting finds: The Dallas Cowboys holding a large area of fans in California, and the exorbitant amount of Denver Broncos fans in the Midwest (I’d be curious to see this map pre-Peyton).
Best to not use this tool at work because you could find yourself extremely ineffective for hours on end.
