The Chicago Bears offense has been an unpredictable this season. One week Brandon Marshall is catching 3 TD’s, and the next week the offense looks like they stayed in the locker room. Ex-Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher decided to share his thoughts on why he thinks the offense hasn’t been consistently showing up.
“Financially, he is one of the elite guys in the NFL … he just hasn’t produced like an elite quarterback,” Urlacher said on Chicago radio station 87.7 FM The Game, according to the Chicago Sun Times. “You look at the Bradys, the Mannings, the Rodgers, the Brees, those guys win every year, even with no one around them. Rodgers has no offensive line. He wins. Brady has no receivers. He wins.”
Urlacher might have a good point here. Cutler has already fumbled the ball more times than he had the entire 2013 season. Couple that with his 7 interceptions thrown already this year, and it’s not looking like the odds are in his favor. Brandon Marshall has already called Cutler out on his poor play. It was only a matter of time before Urlacher chimed in.
