Clark was in town for a Capital Area Soccer League Shootout tournament. According to WNCN, Louis has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection with the death of Clark.
Clark’s coach at Calvary Baptist, Ben Kerth, said he will meet with the team Saturday afternoon to discuss Friday night’s incident.
“Nathan was fun loving, energetic, and brought a joy and a special spark to the Calvary boys soccer team. Everyone on the team is deeply saddened by this tragic loss,” Kerth told WNCN in an e-mail.
