Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill is only a rookie, but he still shouldn’t be this ignorant to what he witnessed on Thursday night.
Despite the Cleveland Browns crushing the Bengals in their own stadium 24-3, Hill said he was unimpressed with the Browns.
“Oh no, not at all. They’re probably worse than I thought, to be honest with you,” Hill said, per ESPN.com’s Coley Harvey. “They didn’t do anything special to me. I mean, respect to them, they won the game. But that’s all I’ll give them.”
Those guys, they’re not that good,” he said. “It was on us (Thursday), We gave them the game, in my opinion. They didn’t do anything special. We just gave them the game. They just sat back with coverage the whole day.”
I don’t understand Hill’s logic at all.
The Browns held him to 55 yards rushing, caused him to fumble once, forced three Andy Dalton interceptions and held the Bengals to fewer than 200 yards of total offense.
Hill was misinformed about who the worst team truly is.
