After pulling the scholarship offer of another recruit when he was set to enroll early, Mississippi State lost a blue chip commitment from Plano East linebacker Anthony Hines III. Hines is one of the top linebacker prospects for the class of 2017 and he hails from the Dallas Metroplex area just like Chason Virgil.
After speaking with my parents and coaches, I have decided to de-commit from Mississippi State and open up my recruitment.

Anthony Hines' father told @robbiefaulk247 that what happened to Chason Virgil had "something to do with it."

I said before that Dan Mullen’s actions with Chason Virgil would come with consequences when it comes to recruiting the state of Texas and it didn’t take long before we started to see them. Hines has over 50 offers from FBS schools so it will be a free for all to get his signature.
