Demarcus Cousins and Charles Barkley share two common factors, they are both from Alabama and both wanted to make it big in the NBA. They both accomplished those goals but for some odd reason, there’s bad blood between the two. Barkley can’t put his finger on it, stating that it might be from the time he ridiculed him after watching him play in HS and stating that he has yet to be held accountable for his actions. Cousins has since shared his feelings towards Barkley stating:
“I have no respect for you and I never will. We have nothing to talk about. So, yes, every time we see each other, there will never be words.”
We all know Barkley isn’t one to hold his tongue towards anyone:
Sometimes people can’t take criticism or it could be that since they are both from the same upbringing, Cousins feel that Barkley would show more favor towards. Hopefully, these two can sit down and discuss the particulars of this situation and move forward. Got to admit, Barkley is real and his analysis on players doesn’t seem to come from ill intent. With Shaq owning shares of the Kings, I wonder if he was a little unmoved about Barkley’s remarks and stating “Cant beat me”
