Jimmy Graham and the New Orleans Saints thought they had the 49ers beat at the end of regulation when Graham came down with a 47-yard Hail Mary for what would have been the game winning score as time expired. Instead the referees called offensive pass interference on Graham and the 49ers went on to win the game in OT. Well, after the game Graham was not happy about the call and even eluded to the defender flopping.
“It was definitely not a push-off,” Graham said. “I’m running down the field telling myself, ‘Whatever you do, don’t push off.’ It’s interesting how guys grab me everywhere on the field and I put literally two fingers on somebody and they make that kind of call.” Graham added, “That’s why I left basketball.”
So what is next? Will the NFL now target floppers now that flopping has entered the NFL?
