With the exhibition season coming to an end, NBA scouts have had the chance to look at some of the top prospects across the country.
Top prospect Jahlil Okafor has looked spectacular thus far, but that hasn’t been the case with other top guys. Freshmen like Cliff Alexander and Stanley Johnson are still adapting to the collegiate level.
The lack of production thus far has led one NBA scout to draw a harsh conclusion about this freshmen class.
“It’s a weak freshman class in terms of skill and basketball talent,” the NBA scout told Yahoo Sports. “They don’t have the ability to make other players better. It’s all about them. They’re ball dominant.”
Luckily for this freshmen class is that they have an entire season to prove people wrong.
