Trying to defend a championship is a tall order, and the Seattle Seahawks are learning that first hand on a daily basis.
Seattle dominated the Arizona Cardinals in every facet of the game on Sunday, and cruised to a 19-3 win. Head coach Pete Carroll was elated.
“It was the best feeling we’ve had all year,” coach Pete Carroll said, per ESPN Seattle. “Just the best sense for one another and the focus and the intensity and just the feeling was really on today.”
“It just felt like this was one of the first really big-time together games that we’ve played,” Carroll said. “We’ve had some good games and stuff, but this was the best one.”
The win pulled Seattle (7-4) within two games of Arizona (9-2) in the NFC West.
After visiting San Francisco on Thanksgiving night, the Seahawks close their campaign with another tilt against the 49ers in Week 15 before meeting the Cardinals and Rams.
