Friday’s ruling that upheld the suspension of Vikings running back Adrian Peterson contains one hopeful silver lining.
It won’t carry over into 2015.
Peterson becomes eligible for reinstatement in April 2015, but he shouldn’t miss any games.
“His reinstatement would depend, of course, on complying with court and league conditions of counseling and no further incidents of misconduct,” NFL spokesman Greg Aiello told PFT by email on Saturday morning.
In all Peterson will forfeit $4 million or six games checks, and will likely be in a new uniform next season.
