Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith is essentially coaching for his job on Sunday afternoon.
Despite having a record below .500, the Atlanta Falcons can still win the NFC South, and make the playoffs. Adam Schefter is reporting that the team owner Arthur Blanks has already taken steps to hire a search firm, to help locate head coaching candidates.

The report deosn’t say Smith will be fired if the Falcons lose, but it’s been a known narrative for weeks around Atlanta.
