The perception of Kendrick Perkins various around the league, and if you’re not a teammate, you probably don’t care much for him.
After trading barbs with Mareese Speights a few weeks ago, Perkins drew the ire of Rudy Gay who blasted the Thunder in big man in an interview with SLAM.
“He might as well play with his face painted, he’s a clown to me.”
That was on the heels of Perkins reportedly speaking negatively of the Kings earlier this season. After learning of Gay’s comments, Perkins told the media he’d rather be a “clown,” than a “virus.”

Those are some big strong words from Perkins. He essentially called Gay a guy that is an infectious agent that replicates only inside the living cells of other organisms, while negatively infecting everything.
