Wow, this is awesome.
The UAB football program was shut down earlier this month because of state politics involving the cities of Birmingham and Tuscaloosa.
One five-year-old boy in Ohio was particularly upset about the budget problems, and graciously offered his $1 allowance to help save the program.

Brad also said that he received a follow-up email that said his son would be receiving a note from UAB’s interim athletic director and perhaps another “surprise.”
