Thirty-three games into this lost season, the New York Knicks record of 5-28 is currently on pace for one of the worst finishes in NBA history. The Knicks are running neck-and-neck with the 76ers, but at least Sam Hinkie has a plan.
The Knicks season was over before it started, but the bad body language and woe me comments aren’t helping anybody. The 28 losses match their total from two seasons ago and Carmelo Anthony told Newsday that “it feels like everything is crumbling.”
“It’s a tough situation,” Carmelo Anthony said. “We come into each game and get the same result night in and night out. It’s tough. Mentally, it’s tough. Emotionally, it’s tough. When you don’t have those things clicking on the same page, everything is just crumbling, and that’s the feeling right now.”
Carmelo and company should be banned from answering questions. I understand things are tough, and not going well right now.
But their comments are depressing me, the city of New York and the entire NBA.
