There’s a chance Adrian Peterson could return to the field soon, and depending on how the Vikings handle things, AP could end up right in the middle of a playoff run for a respective team.
Peter King of THEMMQB is reporting that Peterson likely will be reinstated to the Vikings.
With Peterson likely (but not certain) to be reinstated by a league appeals officer, Harold Henderson, next week, the ball would be in Minnesota’s court as to whether to activate him for the final three games of the year. We’ll hear lots about it this weekend, including whether the Vikings’ coaching side is on the same page with the Vikings’ front-office.
Would the Viking simply deactivate Adrian Peterson without pay? Do they run him over the next few weeks to increase his trade value?
Could Minnesota release Peterson and drop the star running back into free agency–creating an awesome pre-playoff bidding war?
