Tom Brady has been cussing up a storm recently as he and the Pats have rolled tying for the best record in the league. Brady had a simple explanation on what it takes in the game of football.
Via ESPN,
“We’re not choir boys, I know that,” Brady said Monday. “You bring us up to a certain level of intensity to the game, your job is to go out there and physically, emotionally, mentally dominate the game. You don’t do that at church on Sunday. You’ve got to go to the football field for that.”
The game of football requires a high level of intensity and sometimes that involves a lot of bad words that aren’t fit for PG ears. It’s not like we don’t know that language exists and why football players use it. It’s just that when things like this happen it becomes news. Why? The world we live in dictates that anything that is controversial, including bad words on network television, be over-analyzed by us all.
