Bill Belichick told reporters last week that he studied science behind why the air pressure would be different in the footballs due to environmental conditions and pregame handling of the footballs. Leading to him being dubbed Bill Belichick the Science Guy.
Bill Nye America’s most famous science guy was on Good Morning America this morning and asked about Belichick’s having a post NFL career in science. Bill Nye said he’s not worried about the competition in the science. Going on to say that Belichick’s comments about the weather causing the difference in the balls air pressure “didn’t make any sense.” That an inflation needle would be needed to change the air pressure in the footballs.
The New York Post is not holding back either with this headline.
