Sources told ESPN.com that the Cavaliers have been pursuing Mozgov for months.
The deal gives the Cavs the rim protector they’ve been seeking. The Cavaliers acquired an extra first-round pick in their deal for JR Smith and Iman Shumpert.
Mozgov played for first-year Cavs coach David Blatt on the Russian national team.
