Average: a number expressing the central or typical value in a set of data, in particular the mode, median, or (most commonly) the mean, which is calculated by dividing the sum of the values in the set by their number.
Out of the Top 80 receivers in the NFL, Doug Baldwin ranks #42 in yards, #42 in catches and is outside the top 80 in TDs, that makes him by definition an average receiver.
Doesn’t mean he isn’t clutch, doesn’t mean he is garbage, but it does mean he is average, so I am not sure why he is so angry at everyone.
I understand he uses it as motivation, but it hasn’t motivated him to be any better than an average regular season receiver who makes a lot of clutch catches when needed. Nothing more, nothing less.
