This is an absolutely big time move right here if Adam’s goes through with it. Big time players who either struggle at Power 5 programs or get in trouble, usually choose to transfer down to the FCS level to ensure they continue their progress towards the NFL.
Never before has an FCS star made the leap up in competition until now. In what can only be describe as a possible game changer, Eastern Washington star quarterback Vernon Adams is considering a transfer to Oregon.
“They told me a lot of things I wanted to hear,” Adams told The Spokesman-Review. “I’m not saying I’m leaving Eastern, but I’m just going to check it out and see what they have to say.”
If you’ve never seen Adams in action, don’t blink:
Adams will be a redshirt senior and has led Eastern Washington to three straight Big Sky championships and three straight FCS playoff appearances. He has passed for 10,438 yards and 110 touchdowns and rushed for 1,232 yards and 11 touchdowns during his college career.
