You don’t have to be a die hard hockey fanatic to know that Martin Brodeur is an icon in the sport. He is simply a legend, and some say a legitimate first-ballot Hall of Fame candidate.
After spending more than two decades with the New Jersey Devils, Brodeur has finally decided to hang up his skates after a brief stint with the St. Louis Blues as reported via bleacher report.
The Blues have tweeted that Brodeur will be staying on with the organization, and getting his feet wet in the management ranks.

Its good to see that Brodeur, again one of the best to ever do it, go out on his own terms, and stick around and give back to the sport.
